An expert hematologist, Dr. Sood is a specialist in blood and blood disorders, including leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, clotting and clotting disorders, thalassemia and sickle cell anemia, aplastic anemia, complicated anemias , others. Dr. Sood completed his MBBS in 1998 from Mysore University. After his internship at Safdarjang Hospital, he joined the MD program at Delhi University. He completed his doctorate in general medicine and doctorate in internal medicine in 2002. After completing a one-year residency in general medicine at Safdarjang Hospital, he moved to the UK to train in clinical hematology. He has been part of various medical organizations in Great Britain and has received numerous awards in the field of hematology and oncology.
