Dr. Anil Kumar Anand has over 31 years of experience in the field of radiation oncology. He is an alumnus of Dayanand Ludhiana Medical College, where he did MBBS, followed by MD (Radiotherapy and Oncology) from Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Institute (PGI), Chandigarh. He completed specialty training in radiation therapy at New York Hospital Medical Center in Queens. He also completed specialist training in radiotherapy for head and neck cancer at Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London. Dr. Anand joined FMRI, Gurugram from Max Hospital, Saket, where he was employed as Senior Director of Radiation Oncology since 2009. Earlier, he was associated with organizations like Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, New Delhi and PGI Chandigarh. Dr. Anand has numerous scientific publications to his credit, the most recent being stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) in recurrent head and neck cancers. He is a member of Indian Society of Oncology, American Society of Radiation Oncology and Society of Radiation Oncologists of India. He is also an advisor to scientific bodies such as ICRO, WHO and other UN organizations. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics.
