Dr. Harit Chaturvedi

Brief Profile:

Dr. Harit Chaturvedi commenced his oncology career at the renowned Cancer Institute in Adyar, Chennai. Over the past 15 years, he has actively participated in live surgical workshops and has been a prominent advocate for cancer awareness, as well as a staunch opponent of tobacco, collaborating with various cancer foundations. His clinical and surgical expertise has earned him widespread respect in the medical community.

Currently, Dr. Chaturvedi heads the Oncology team at Max Healthcare, which comprises 80 oncologists distributed across seven major super-specialty centers and additional standalone facilities throughout Delhi NCR and North India. His commitment to delivering high-quality care is evident through initiatives such as virtual tumor boards and the development of subspecialties within the Max centers. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the ambitious oncology vision at Max Healthcare, emphasizing the importance of people, processes, and systems, while also contributing significantly to clinical quality, clinician recruitment, and the long-term strategic direction of the organization.

Dr. Chaturvedi serves as the President-elect of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncologists and has recently held the position of President of the Indian Society of Oncology. Before his tenure at Max Healthcare, he was affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in New Delhi (2004-2009), Apollo Hospital in New Delhi (2000-2004), and Batra Hospital in New Delhi (1995-1999).

In his free time, he is an avid reader and enjoys spending quality moments with his family.
