Dr. Vedant Kabra is currently Director, Department of Surgical Oncology, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram; Delhi NCR Fortis Health Hospital. He, along with his team, will oversee Fortis Hospitals in Gurgaon and Delhi-NCR to provide comprehensive cancer care focusing on the breast, gastrointestinal tract, head and neck, gynecological and genitourinary tract, skin, soft tissue, bones, lungs and mediastinum. using techniques for organ preservation and health, such as sentinel lymph node biopsy, breast conservation and oncoplasty, minimally invasive/robotic surgery, HIPEC, salvage surgery and more. To promote public health/cancer prevention, spread of cancer and assist in early diagnosis of cancer and development of Fortis Cancer Center in NCR region.

Assoc. Kabra brings patients not only in different parts of India and neighboring countries (Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan), but also in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan), Middle East (Dubai, Iraq, Oman), Bahrain He also treated in Yemen. ), Africa (Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Mauritius, Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan, Atricia, Sierra Leone, Eritrea and Somalia) and the Pacific Islands (Fiji, Kiribati, Tuvalu). He has visited many of these countries to give speeches and work on public cancer awareness campaigns and medical camps as part of the Health Foundation.

Trained in Surgical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and National Cancer Institute, Singapore, he has experience in more than 12,000 cancer surgeries and has successfully performed various cancer surgeries. He has lectured at various international and national conferences and has numerous articles and four volumes, as well as many awards for outstanding courses. Dr. Kabra is also a lecturer at the India-UK Breast Oncoplasty Fellowship
, run by the University of East Anglia ( ), UK. He is passionate about spreading cancer; always raises awareness and self-diagnosis. It mobilized thousands of police and education officials to enforce anti-smoking measures. His involvement and leadership in anti-tobacco activities in Haryana was instrumental in establishing an anti-tobacco organization called "Voice of Tobacco Victims" in the state of Haryana. Currently Dr. Kabra supports the
"Health Promise" campaign to prevent children and young people from starting to smoke.
