Dr. Shweta Bansal is a distinguished pulmonologist with more than 13 years of extensive experience in the field. She completed her MD at the prestigious Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute and pursued further specialization with a DM in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Additionally, she holds a DNB in Respiratory Medicine from the National Board and has completed a clinical fellowship in lung transplantation for end-stage lung diseases in Vienna, Austria, as well as EBUS ERS training in Athens, Greece. Dr. Bansal is also recognized for her European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (EDARM) from the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and is a fellow of the Asia Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR).
Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of respiratory conditions, including COVID-19 and its post-viral complications, allergies, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tuberculosis, interstitial lung disease (ILD), lung cancer, pneumonia, sleep-disordered breathing (obstructive sleep apnea), and critical care.
