Dr. Sandeep Harkar serves as a Senior Consultant in the Urology department at Artemis Health Institute in Gurugram. Prior to this role, he spent over six years as a Consultant in Urology at Paras Hospitals in Gurgaon. Dr. Harkar commenced his medical education at Government Medical College in Jammu, where he earned his MBBS degree in 2001. He furthered his studies by completing his MS in Surgery at the same institution. Subsequently, he advanced his training at the esteemed Maulana Azad Medical College and the associated Lok Nayak Hospital in New Delhi, where he held the position of Senior Resident under the guidance of prominent figures in General Surgery. His dedication to Urology led him to join the Army Hospital (Research & Referral Institute) in New Delhi in 2009 to pursue his DNB residency program. The Army Hospital (R&R) is recognized as a leading medical facility within the Armed Forces, equipped with cutting-edge technology and infrastructure. Upon successfully completing his training, he was awarded the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) by the National Board of Examinations. Dr. Harkar possesses extensive experience in various endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open urological procedures. He has a profound understanding of kidney transplantation and has played a vital role in the renal transplant team at the Army Hospital in Delhi and later at Paras Hospitals in Gurgaon. He has contributed numerous articles to both national and international journals and has presented his research at various conferences across the country. Additionally, he has obtained an international fellowship in Urology and participated in the EUREP program in Europe in 2011. Dr. Harkar has a particular interest in Endo-urology, Andrology, and Reconstructive Urology.
