Dr. (Brig) WVBS Ramalingam possesses an extensive 30-year career in the Indian Armed Forces. He has served as an Associate Professor at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, as well as a Professor at the Army College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, and held the position of Professor and Head of Department at the Army Hospital (Research & Referral) in New Delhi.

He is a life member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India, a founding member of the Foundation for Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, a life member of the Association of Phonosurgeons of India, and currently serves as the President of the Laryngology & Voice Association.

His advanced training includes fellowships in Head & Neck Oncosurgery at TATA Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, in CO2 Laser Surgery at the University of Göttingen in Germany, in Phoniatrics at the University of Freiburg in Germany, in Skull Base Surgery at the University Hospital of Pittsburgh, and in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam.

Dr. Ramalingam specializes in various areas of Head & Neck Surgery, including Phono or Voice Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, CO2 Laser Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (including Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery), and all types of Ear Surgeries.
