After graduating from Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr.Vikas Singhal continued his surgical training in the United Kingdom and the United States. He completed a fiveyear surgical residency at the Guthrie Clinic in Pennsylvania. He then underwent advanced training in advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery at Case Medical Center, Cleveland, USA. He is a board certified surgeon by the American Board of Surgery. He also received a fellowship from the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS). He believes in honest and ethical patient care and the practice of evidence-based medicine. He has several indexed publications in GI Surgery in famous journals and received the best paper award from Journal of GI Surgery (JOGS) and Society of Surgeons of the Alimentary tract (SSAT), USA.
