Dr. Sidharth Kumar Sethi serves as a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Renal Transplant Medicine at Medanta, The Medicity in India. He completed his fellowship through the International Pediatric Nephrology Association and underwent senior residency training in pediatric nephrology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, as well as at the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplant Immunology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. His primary interests include acute kidney injury, dialysis, and pediatric renal transplantation. Dr. Sethi has extensive experience in managing children with a variety of complex renal conditions, such as acute kidney injury, nephrotic syndrome, tubular disorders, urinary tract infections, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and renal transplantation. He has contributed to the development of the Indian guidelines for Steroid Sensitive Nephrotic Syndrome as part of an 8-member writing committee and has participated in expert committees that established guidelines for pediatric renal disorders, including Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome and urinary tract infections. With over 150 indexed publications in pediatric nephrology and contributions to esteemed nephrology textbooks, he is also a member of the Board of Directors for the PCRRT-ICONIC Foundation, which focuses on raising awareness and providing education in critical care pediatric nephrology. Additionally, he serves as an editor for Springer's Handbook of Critical Care Pediatric Nephrology & Pediatric Dialysis, alongside Dr. Bunchman, Dr. Raina, and Dr. McCulloch, as well as for Springer's Pediatric Solid Organ Transplantation: A Practical Handbook, with Dr. Shapiro, Dr. Sarwal, and Dr. Raina. In recognition of his significant contributions to the field of Pediatric Nephrology, he received an award from Case Western Reserve University in 2014.
