Brief Profile:

Dr. Rayaz Ahmed has undergone training at CMC Vellore and possesses a keen interest in Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplantation. With over 15 years of experience in this field, he specializes in various types of Stem Cell Transplants, including Allogeneic, Autologous, Matched Unrelated Donor (MUD), and Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplants. He completed his fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation at CMC Vellore and previously served as an Associate Professor at the same institution. 

His areas of expertise encompass all forms of blood cancers, including lymphoma and multiple myeloma, as well as Matched Sibling Donor Stem Cell Transplants, Matched Unrelated Donor Stem Cell Transplants, and Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplants. He has also participated in a Phase IV study of Zytiga for prostate cancer and has experience managing hematological disorders such as Aplastic Anemia and Thalassemia Major. 

Dr. Ahmed is recognized for initiating several pioneering projects in the field of Hemato-Oncology and has played a significant role in organizing global training programs in this specialty.
