Dr. Rajesh Rajput

Brief Profile:

Dr. RAJESH RAJPUT, Senior Principal Professor and Head of Department of Endocrinology, PGIMS, Rohtak, has more than 25 years of clinical experience. He has received various grants from FRCP (Edin), FACE (USA), FICP, FIACM, FISH, FIMSA, FRSSDI, FITS, FIPA, FDI. He has more than 180 publications in various national and international journals. He co-edited 3 books, namely: ITS Textbook of Thyroid Disorders, Endocrine Disorders in Pregnancy, Women's Health in Diabetes. He has contributed chapters to many famous textbooks on diabetes and endocrinology such as API Textbook of Medicine, Manual of Endocrinology, Medicine Update, RSSDI Update. French He has given numerous lectures in various national conferences. Dr. Rajput received the Inspiring Diabetologist/Endocrinologist Award from Economic Times in June 2020, Sanofi Aventis Lectureship Oration Award in Diabetes at APICON-2018, Bangalore and Sadikot Oration Lecture: UPDACON 2020. For his research contributions he received the Gold Medal SeARth for the best research work in ESICON, 2007 at TIRUPATI. Silver Medal for 2nd Best Poster Presentation at ESICON, 2010 at CMC VELLORE and Best Free Paper Award at RSSDI 2013, New Delhi and APICON, VARANASI 2003. He was Past President of Indian Thyroid Society-(ITSC) and former executive member of Endocrine. Society of India (ESI). Dr. Rajput has been a reviewer for the Journal of Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine (JIACM) since 2002, a reviewer for Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice (DRCP), BMJ Case Reports & Diabetes Technology and Therapy, IJDDC, Primary Care Diabetes.
