Dr. Neelam Mohan

Brief Profile:

Dr. Neelam Mohan is a leading pediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist in India, with an extensive experience of 25 years in his field. Dr. Neelam Mohan is a pioneer in pediatric liver transplantation in India and is recognized for many times in this field in India. He is also credited with several world firsts in pediatric liver transplantation. She was the first in India to introduce therapeutic endoscopy in newborns and children. He has published more than 250 articles (of which more than 100 are international) and has written more than 50 book chapters. He presented in more than 900 forums, more than 200 of which were international. She has been invited to speak at global/international conferences in most countries, USA, Europe, UK, Canada, Japan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and other Asia-Pacific countries. He is the author of several global and national guidelines on pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. Dr. Neelam is an advisor to the National Health Authority of India (Aayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojna). He is co-chairman of STW (Standard Treatment Workflow) for Paediatrics, an initiative of the Government of India through ICMR. He is also an advisor to the National Examinations Council. He is the President of Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ISPGHAN) and Commonwealth Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (CAPGAN).
