Dr. Nagendra S Chouhan has done a super-specialization in cardiology and a national board postdoctoral fellowship in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. He gained additional experience in complex coronary interventions, structural heart disease interventions and percutaneous aortic valve implantation (TAVI) at Mayo Clinic and Cedar Sanai Hospital, USA. He also gained experience in implementing DCI and CRTD in China and Singapore. He has 15 years of experience in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate and students in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Her passion is to instill evidence-based ethical practice. He is a passionate researcher with 20 international and 30 national publications and is a principal investigator in various international trials. He is a reviewer for HEART, International Journal of Cardiology and Indian Heart Journal. He has given numerous lectures in national and international forums. His main areas of expertise and interest are:
complex coronary angioplasty and rotary ablation, management of heart failure, structural heart disease interventions such as percutaneous valve interventions (TAVI), closure of paravalvular leaks, PTSMA and BMV, cardiac imaging (FFR, OCT, IVUS), ligatures of the LA appendix, aortic interventions such as EVAR for aortic aneurysm, pacemaker, ICD, CRT, COMBO device and percutaneous ECMO implantation.
