Dr. Manish Jain commenced his professional journey in 1996 after graduating with an MBBS from PGIMS Rohtak. He subsequently pursued a postgraduate degree in MD (Medicine) and further specialized in Nephrology, obtaining a DM (Nephrology) from Chennai. Following this, he completed a Clinical Fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. After earning his DM, he took on the role of Assistant Professor at Meenakshi Medical College in Kanchepuram, where he was instrumental in establishing the Nephrology Department and initiating the Dialysis unit. In 2010, after his Clinical Fellowship, he joined Medanta The Medicity, where he currently serves as the Director of the Division of Nephrology & Renal Transplant Medicine. Dr. Jain possesses extensive expertise in renal disorders, with a particular focus on Renal Transplantation and Dialysis. He has been honored with the FICP designation from the Indian College of Physicians and the FISN from the Indian Society of Nephrology for his exceptional contributions and ongoing service to both the society and the community. He has authored and presented over 50 articles in various journals, books, and conferences, including a chapter on Kidney Transplantation in elderly patients and those with diabetes, featured in the esteemed OXFORD Book on Renal Transplantation in Developing Countries. Additionally, he serves as a Co-Editor for the book "Case Studies in Nephrology: A Practical Approach," which aims to assist practicing physicians and nephrology fellows, as well as postgraduate students preparing for their Nephrology examinations. Dr. Jain has also been a DNB Nephrology teacher and guide and is a life member of numerous national and international societies. His dedication and enthusiasm are commendable, and he is actively involved in social service, having organized free medical check-up camps and various programs to raise awareness about kidney diseases and their prevention. He frequently speaks on topics related to Nephrology.
