Dr. Indivar Upadhyay works as an Associate Director in Pediatric and Adult Cardiac Surgery at Medanta. He has 20 years of experience in cardiac surgery of adults and children, as well as rich experience in the field of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. He is an expert in performing heart transplants and pediatric cardiac surgery. He worked at Stanford University as a fellow and participated in the Heart Transplant Program and the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Program. His expertise lies in pediatric cardiac surgery including the Rastelli procedure and arterial occlusion surgeries. He was part of the first heart transplant team in Medanta. Dr. Indivar Upadhyay has been involved in many aortic surgeries and has a special interest in the aortic dissection program, thoraco-abdominal aortic replacement and abdominal aortic surgery.
