Dr. Atma Ram Bansal

Brief Profile:

Dr. Atma Ram Bansal is a specialist in epilepsy, having received his training from the esteemed Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology (SCTIMST) in Trivandrum. Throughout his Epilepsy Fellowship, he acquired specialized skills in managing complex cases of epilepsy, conducting surgical evaluations for refractory epilepsy, and advanced techniques in electroencephalography (EEG) and long-term video-EEG monitoring. For over 12 years, he has been leading the comprehensive epilepsy care program at Medanta, where he has treated more than 6,000 patients with epilepsy. Dr. Bansal has authored over 50 publications in both national and international journals and has written two books on the subject of epilepsy. He has also established and executed an epilepsy protocol at the Medanta Institute of Neurosciences, consistently striving to deliver high-quality care to individuals affected by epilepsy. Furthermore, he is dedicated to creating an epilepsy support group to enhance comprehensive care for patients.
