Dr. Ashok Seth is the Director of Fortis Escorts Cardiology Centre, New Delhi, Chairman of Fortis Medical Council and Assistant Professor of Cardiology at JN Medical College (Aligarh Muslim University) and National Testing Agency. Dr. Seth has led the field of interventional cardiology for the last 35 years and has been instrumental in developing and advancing knowledge and education in the field and pioneering many angioplasty techniques in India and the Asia Pacific region. Dr.Seth was honored with a PhD degree from six prestigious universities of the country: BHU, AMU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Amity, Shiv Nadar and Teertthankar Mahavir University. Appointed Assistant Professor of Cardiology at JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University and National Institute of Examination. He is the founder/director of five leading national and international angioplasty training courses: India Live, India Valves, CHIP-CTO India, AICT-Asia PCR and
India Council of Imaging and Physiology. He co-chairs the TCT Scientific Sessions (USA) and the Euro PCR Program Committee. Seth has been invited to lecture at over 450 national and international conferences and teach complex angioplasty techniques through live demonstration at over 100 national and international conferences around the world, including the renowned TCT (Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapies), Euro PCR in the USA. He lives in Paris and Singapore in Singapore. He has over
publications in 350 peer-reviewed Indian and international medical journals and chapters in 30 books on cardiology and has authored 3 books and has trained over 500 cardiologists in advanced angioplasty techniques. Awards and recognition Dr. Seth was awarded the national honor of Padma Shri in 2003, Padma Bhushan in 2015 and the BCRoy National Award for Medical Excellence by the President of India
