He serves as the Head of the Department of Surgery at Max Health Care in Saket, New Delhi. His notable contributions to the fields of Bariatric and minimal access surgery include the establishment of a Bariatric program at Max Health Care and in Central India. He is affiliated with numerous esteemed organizations across India and Asia and has authored several research papers pertaining to minimal access surgery. Dr. Vashistha holds the distinction of being the first Laparoscopic Surgeon accredited and certified by the National Board of Examination, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi.
