Dr Anoop Mishra

Brief Profile:

Prof. (Dr.) Anoop Misra serves as the Chairman of Fortis C-DOC Hospital for Diabetes and Allied Sciences. Additionally, he holds the position of Director at the National Diabetes Obesity and Cholesterol Foundation (NDOC) and serves as the President of Diabetes Foundation (India). Previously, Dr. Misra was a Professor of Medicine at AIIMS in New Delhi. His extensive contributions to the field include over 350 published research papers, ranking him among the top 2% scientists in diabetes from India on a global scale according to analysis conducted by Stanford University. Dr. Misra also holds prestigious editorial roles, such as Editor-in-Chief for "Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research & Reviews" and "Clinical Keys" with Elsevier, as well as an associate editorship with the Journal of Diabetes (USA) and European Journal of Clinical Nutrition. He is also a valued member of several editorial advisory boards, including that of the renowned "British Medical Journal," while serving on BMJ's Regional Advisory Board for South Asia. Furthermore, Dr. Misra has authored books titled "Diabetes with Delights" and "Diabetes ke saath kushaal jeevan" (published by Bloomsbury).
